For a short period I am looking for a job to pay the bills. I'm willing to work 40 hours per week, on or off location, I don't care, as long as I don't have to commute longer than Paphos or Limassol of course.
My name is Thomas Hansen, and if you count all my email addresses that have been associated with my GitHub account, I am the top contributor to GitHub, and I am 2.5 times as productive as number two on that list, with roughly 10,000 commits towards GitHub since they started measuring. This is including the whole of Cyprus, North and South, 2 million people that is.
I've written the 5th most read article Microsoft ever published about software architecture, and DZone have frequently used me as a paid author for their ref-cards and other paid writing opportunities. Some of my articles have been sent and read by the CTOs of the top Fortune 500 companies in the world, and I'm widely considered to be a somewhat of a "unique software developer".
I started coding when I was 8 years old, and I know more programming languages than I can count. In fact, I have created two programming languages. One of which is Lizzie. Lizzie is currently being implemented as the primary scripting language in a game engine, a competitor to Unity3D.
I've created a billion dollar company with my own hands, and you can test my skills by clicking the chatbot in the bottom right corner and ask it questions such as "What is AINIRO", etc. That should easily prove my skills, both as a frontend developer, and as a backend developer.
I have at least 2 GitHub repositories in the Arctic Code Vault, one of which has more than 800 stars and 7,000+ commits, 80% of which are done by me may I add. Knowledge I have includes the following.
- Kubernetes and Docker
- Azure and DevOps
- C# and .Net
- TypeScript and Angular
- Machine Learning and AI
- Git, GitFlow, "whatever"
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server
- Some MongoDB, RavenDB, Couchbase, Cosmos, Cassandra and Scylla - But this is not my expertise
- SOLID, DesignPatterns, Agile Software Development, Scrum, "you name it"
- I have been project manager, at my peak for 3 software development teams simultaneously, on 3 different continents, all of whom delivered way beyond expectations, on time
The above of course is far from an exhaustive list, but I don't want to bore you with everything I know, since that would require dozens of articles. Having coded since I was 8, implying 41 years of software development experience, obviously implies I know more than the above.
Anyways, I'm not the traditional job seeker. In fact, I can't even promise you I'll be working for you more than a couple of months, because once AINIRO picks up on sales, I will quit and help my children build AINIRO. And in fact, I insist upon working only between 0900 and 1800, unless there's an emergencey with my employer, since I intend to spend my after work hours building AINIRO. However, I've worked 80+ hours now for so long, I'm used to it, and I don't even know any other ways to work, so it shouldn't be a problem. 40 hours of me, is probably worth 400 hours of "whatever software developer".
My manager at one of my companies told me when I quit the following "I've measured, and you did 30% of the workload the last 3 months. Please stay, we can raise your salary, or promote you to a new position." There were 25 software developers in that room. I had worked for them for 18 months at that time.
If you've got a job for me, such that I can pay the bills, I would appreciate it. Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and maybe I can help you with your software development efforts for some few months, while sales starts picking up at AINIRO. However, I insist upon continue building AINIRO. I have to, I have "an itch to scratch" you might say. So everything I do outside of work hours needs to be my own intellectual property.
