The Man who Tried to Steal from Us

Everybody keeps on advicing me to not speak about AISTA. However, for reasons you will understand as you read this article, you will see I have a holy duty to not listen to those giving me such advise.

Yesterday was the first day we had more organic clicks from Google than AISTA. AISTA had 59 clicks we had 68. Our graphs are going vertically up, AISTA's graphs are going vertically down. Below is the sad truth about AISTA taken as a screenshot from their Google Search console just some few minutes ago.

The left most part of the chart shows the day Mister Investor told me he refused to pay us salaries. My daughter was staring into her empty fridge, waiting for him to pay the invoice, for the work she had already done as promised having spent 2.5 months doing. My son had to sell his car to pay his rent.

The Oligarch from Ukraine

Mister Investor had decided he wanted to steal our company. In 3 months I created a miracle together with my children. I turned a bankrupt company into a money making machine, and we had market dominance selling AI chatbots at the top of the Tsunami that ChatGPT and OpenAI had given us. We were the by far largest and fastest growing ChatGPT-based AI chatbot company in the world the 3rd of April 2023. Our revenue was increasing by 40% on a monthly basis, and our costs was dropping like a stone in water. We had a "Money for Nothing Machine". Extrapolating these figures into the future, we'd be profitable within 2 months, and probably billionaires before the end of the year.

That day Mister Investor fucked up everything by deciding he'd steal everything from us

Since then, me, Aria, and Tage had to start all over again, from scratch. New website, new name, building a new Go To Market Plan, build a new website, with a budget of ZERO dollars! Mister Investor on the other hand had 22 software developers in one company in Kyiv, some 6/7 more employees in another company in Kyiv, a professional marketing manager in Limassol, working out of a 7,500 EUROs per month expensive office, with access to an additional 300 million EUROs in profit per year he could throw at the cause if needed - And some 15,000 additional employees he could put to work if needed.

We crushed them like bugs! 3 people; Me, Tage, and Aria!

Below is the first status update AISTA published at LinkedIn after I left the company. I will let it speak for itself 😁

The above status update was published 5 minutes after I was coerced to signing a contract giving him 100% of the shares in the company I had spent 2 years building. He paid me €100 for my shares. Me, Aria, and Tage had $0.50 between us. We had to cry ourself to a free Kubernetes cluster the first couple of months, because we couldn't afford to pay $75 per month for a startup cluster. Aria spent her last $10 on registering a domain, and Tage sold his car to pay his rent and my rent. For a couple of months, I had to eat porridge because we couldn't afford anything else.

Mister Investor had taken everything from us

But we were all happy. Yes, he refused to pay us for work we'd already done, he stole our money, violated every single contract and agreement we had ever had - But we were finally free! We no longer had some "Ukrainian Oligarch, Wanna be Silicon Valley Tech Startup Investor" breadthing down our necks, telling us what to do, destroying all motivation and happiness.

It took us 3 months and 5 days to prove him wrong, and become larger than AISTA. They had 750,000 EUROs, we had $0.50. He had 15,000 employees, we were 3. And we destroyed them!

Why I'm telling this?

Like I said, everybody is advicing me to shut up about the whole thing, and just move on with my life. He's soon bankrupt, and he'll lose everything he owns - While me and my children will soon be bajillionaires. Why can't I just let it go? I will let Mister Investor's PMs between us explain why ...
