AI Agents with Checkout Carts

With our latest release we've got the ability to generate ChatGPT apps. Such apps can be as complex or as simple as you wish, and one feature I particularly enjoy, is the ability to embed your checkout cart directly into the AI agent's surface. This allows you to deliver an AI chatbot that sells your products immediately, without forcing the user to follow a URL, implying less obstacles and fever decisions.

Eliminating obstacles in the purchasing process should be your top priority if you're doing anything related to e-commerce. Every single time a user needs to click on something, or make a choice, the statistical probability of that the user will convert decreases by 10 to 25 percent - Implying that every single click you can eliminate is money on the table!

With a checkout cart directly embedded into your AI chatbot or agent, you can eliminate several clicks and choices, significantly lubricating the purchasing process. Below is an example of such an AI agent.

Probably the most interesting part of the above widget is how it was created. Instead of manually creating it, we used Magic Cloud to "vibe code". Below you can see a screenshot of the process.

The ability to use natural language to "generate" such checkout widgets, complete with a backend, allows marketing agencies and citizen to create fairly complex widgets, having the AI generate all required code. In theory you could just upload a CSV file containing all products, SKU codes, and prices, and tell Magic to generate checkout widgets for every single product you've got using a prompt resembling the following.

In fact, think about it as "The E-Commerce AI agent" that in theory could completely replace your existing GUI and website.
