500% more Leads with ChatGPT

Some few days ago we added lead capturing to our ChatGPT AI chatbot technology, and started using it in our own chatbot. Basically, if a user drops his or her name and email address in the chatbot, this will trigger an automatic email to us, allowing us to take over the conversation in an attempt at trying to sell our product.

The process is as follows; If a user asks anything related to "How do I contact you?" - Or any permutation of this question, a static answer tells the user the following.

Then as the user leaves his email address and name in the chatbot, an email is instantly sent to us, and we can take over the conversation from the chatbot, having the entire conversation between the user and the chatbot in the email sent. The matching uses AI-based semantic search, so it is able to understand the user's "intentions", so almost anything closely resembling the question of "how to contact you" will match the static answer.

This simple trick increased our leads by 500% in 3 days! Yes, you heard us correctly, we have 5 times as many leads now as we had only one week ago. In theory this implies that the above simple trick could in theory increase your conversions by 500%!

The Talking Frog

My favourite story is about the talking frog. A man walks in the forrest and sees a talking frog. He speaks with the frog for half an hour, fascinated by the frog's abilities, before realising he doesn't need a talking frog and goes home. His brother enters the same forrest looking for the frog, but can't find it. Instead he finds another frog that barfs gold nuggets. His brother of course brings the frog with him home, and feeds it everything it wants, and becomes rich, and lives happily ever after.

When we started integrating with ChatGPT almost 6 months ago, everybody were impressed by our "talking frog", and we sold a lot of "talking frogs" initially to people wanting to stay ahead of the curve. Today it's almost irrelevant how high quality we've got in our chatbot, because people want more. Simply creating "a ChatGPT website chatbot" isn't enough anymore.
