Turn your Book into an AI Chatbot

I met a life style coach a couple of days ago. Andrea Shaprut-Beil was an interesting woman, having spoken at TEDx, in addition to having written a book. One thing that occurred to me after I spoke with her, was that it would be incredibly easy to turn her book into a lifestyle AI chatbot.

This would provide lots of benefits. The readers of "the book" could frame their questions from a personal point of view, asking "the book" to solve their specific problems, by talking to the AI chatbot and explaining their struggles. The author again would get a recurring revenue stream based upon their teachings by leveraging our white label solutions, and get to frame their ideas into an AI chatbot that answers questions according to the book's content.

Most books already have static websites used to market the book as it is launched. Linking up such websites to an AI Expert System that allows users to ask some 3 to 5 questions for free, before demanding a subscription, would be very easy. In addition, a publicly available chatbot based upon one or two chapters only could be embedded on the website to allow potential "readers" to gain access to a couple of chapters for free. This would result in an AI chatbot that can function as a coach based upon a couple of chapters, and use this to funnel users into the complete experience, which would of course be protected behind a payment wall.

The AI vs Copyright war

A lot of authors and creators are terrified of AI these days. Our take is that it's futile. You can't fight the future, it will come regardless of your "opinion" about it. If you instead embrace it on your terms, it can provide a valuable addition instead of posing as a threat. This allows you to reframe the threat from AI to become an opportunity for extra revenue.

The experience could also be created in such a way that the book is a part of the experience, allowing readers to get the book "for free" as they're subscribing to the AI chatbot based upon the book. Alternatively have the AI chatbot try to sell the physical copy and such function as a funnel to the real thing.
