Create your own Facebook
Back in the day when I started using the internet, some 30 years ago, there was no "social media websites". Users would hang out in small community forums, or discuss things on the USENET. Nobody controlled what you could say, besides the occassional website admin, and there was no massive global players having monopoly on distribution. If you didn't like the rules of one forum, you picked up your potatoes and moved on to another forum.
This was the way the internet was supposed to work. As in; "A decentralised machine allowing us to communicate across time and space!"
Social media destroying the world
Then came "social media". I still don't understand what's so bloody "social" about being forced to share cat memes and lunch selfies to get attention, but I'm certain Zuckerberg has a plan behind it. However, for me, succeeding in "social media" created by autistic billionaires, incapable of having legitimate social relationships themselves, isn't really a metric of your ability to being "social". It's more like a measure of the mass psychosis these companies have managed to instill in us.
Create your OWN Social Media
Vibe coding a forum, or some messaging service, using Magic Cloud, is dead simple. In fact, I could probably have the basics up running in 20 minutes, including authentication, authorization, registrations, OIDC, etc, etc, etc. Will it be Facebook? Of course not. Facebook has decades worth of innovation behind them, but most of this innovation is about how to make you an addict, and squeeze you for advertising money - Not to solve your actual problem.
Will you get a billion users? Of course not! Especially not if you're running out of your home. But that's the point! Create your own social media website, have it function as you wish, invite your friends to register, and have them add content and use it to communicate. Just like the web was meant to be!
The internet, on your terms!
