Zendesk AI chatbot versus AINIRO

If you search on Google or Bing for "AI chatbot", you will find dozens of articles that are giving Zendesk the highest possible rating, claiming that Zendesk have, and I quote; "The best AI chatbot out there".

There's just one problem; I can prove it's far from "the best AI chatbot" out there. In fact, I can mention 1,000+ AI chatbot companies that have better AI chatbots based upon neutral metrics and neutral comparisons, including us.

Zendesk's AI chatbot

If you visit Zendesk and try their chatbot, there's little if any generative AI in it, and I suspect it's just doing rule based lookups, based upon vector similarity search (VSS). Still, they're apparently considered the "best AI chatbot" out there according to Google and Bing.

Below is Zendesk's AI chatbot side by side with our AI chatbot for the same questions. I'll let you judge their answers.

Unethical Marketing

I suspect that what happened was that as ChatGPT went viral, Zendesk panicked. They had built their foundation on a dying technology stack, and needed to turn around quickly, before their revenue dropped like a stone in water.

By delivering a rushed product, with barely any AI at all, for then to hiring an army of unethical marketing agencies to position themselves - They effectively bullied out small companies such as us. They basically "stole" our search engine keywords and littered the Google search index with what I consider to be misleading marketing at best, possibly also fraud. See the screenshot below for an example, where they claim to be the second best AI chatbot in the world, only second to ChatGPT.

I've used ChatGPT a lot, and I've tested a lot of AI chatbots - And believe me, Zendesk doesn't even make the top 1,000. And ChatGPT is 5 orders of magnitudes smarter then Zendesk's AI chatbot.

But with an army of unethical marketeers, willing to sell out their grandma if required, the truth becomes irrelevant I presume ...

AI washing

The Chairman of the SEC have started charging individuals and companies for securities fraud over what the SEC refers to as "AI washing". AI washing is when a company claims to have AI products, but actually does not. The idea is that if you're an AI company today, investors will throw money at you, driving up stock price, resulting in more bonus to the CEO.

The average Fortune 500 CEO can easily earn tens of millions of dollars on lying in his reports to the board, and fabricate AI initiatives and AI products. This bubble will of course burst sooner or later, but until it does, companies such as ours have a 10x harder job to get noticed with our real AI initiatives.

I don't know if Zendesk's usage of AI in their marketing is a violation of the Securities Fraud Act from 1933, but if it's not, it's definitely misleading marketing, and possibly illegal for other reasons. Conclusion

Normally at this point I would compare other features, such as pricing, bandwidth consumption, etc. However it's pointless, since Zendesk can't even deliver basic AI chatbot functionality. If you're interested though, we're less expensive than Zendesk, at least on AI chatbots - And I suspect our chatbot is 20x faster than Zendesk on initial page load and other neutral metrics, in addition to that (duh!) we can also integrate with Zendesk, Shopify, "whatever" you wish.

What Zendesk does besides AI chatbots I have no idea about. They just might be "the thing" in regards to traditional customer support and service - But they do not have a (real) AI chatbot.

Zendesk, your alleged "AI chatbot" is JUNK WARE!
